“Every year, the NYC ruling class gathers at the NYPD gala to “celebrate” the NYPD and “donate” yet more money for the cops to brutalize and harass New Yorkers and even people around the world. All the while, community services remain underfunded, everyday people feel the pressure of an economy in crisis, and anyone who stands up against injustice is arrested or worse.
