@maoistcommunistunion: “Join Maoist Communist Union New York City for a screening and discussion of the documentary film Red Ant Dream. This documentary depicts some of the revolutionary movement going on in India today. Right now the government of India is trying to carry out a genocide. It has deployed 900,000 troops and police in the jungles of Central India in an attempt to eliminate the Maoist movement and displace millions of adivasis (the indigenous people of India). The government has branded this “Operation Kagaar” which means “The final solution.” They are using US and Israeli drones to bombard the people in this latest brutal offense. But in the face of this oppression there is resistance. The people are waging a revolutionary struggle to overcome the oppressive government and build a new society. Join us to learn about the history of this movement in India, the current situation, and what we should do about it here in the U.S.”
