🗓️ Saturday, April 19, 3pm-4:30pm
📍 The Free Black Women’s Library Reading Room, 226 Marcus Garvey Blvd Brooklyn, NY 11221
“Black women have been self-publishing their work for generations. Join Mariame Kaba and Neta Bomani of Sojourners for Justice Press for a discussion about Black women (self) publishers. They will also offer examples of Black women who started small presses to publish work by others. Finally, participants will be invited to reflect on the types of books that they might want to self-publish in the future.”
