@daretostrugglenyc: “Our May mass meeting will be on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:30PM in the Lower East Side. Learn about our ongoing campaign against police brutality and how we are fighting back against medical neglect and prison deaths.
We will be writing letters to prisoners at New York Midstate Correctional Facility, where 22-year-old Messiah Antwi was beaten to death by Correctional Officers under the supervision of National Guard troops. Several inmates went to the press, bravely sharing what they witnessed in the face of brutal retaliation.
It is important for people on the outside to support inmates standing up against such horrific oppression and encourage others to join them and speak up. Come out next Wednesday to write to these prisoners! #justiceformessiahnantwi #justiceforrobertbrooks”
