The thieves are gathering at a fundraiser for the Manhattan Institute, a hotbed for fascist propaganda. They have been an incubator of the deregulation, privatization, and austerity that has left millions of working-class Americans drowning in stagnant wages and hopelessness. These oligarchs fought against minimum wage hikes, opposed universal healthcare, and privatized public services—all to squeeze more profits for themselves while ordinary Americans worked longer hours for shrinking paychecks. This isn’t just policy—it’s class warfare. They created the despair that put Trump in the White House and crashed our economy–now they are coming for our jobs, our hospitals, our schools, and our democracy.
