“With Trump destroying federal climate projects, we need Governor Hochul to show climate leadership! But instead, Hochul–or SLOCHUL– is dragging her feet. We’re calling on her to pass the NY HEAT Act this year, fund climate, and move the Cap & Invest program forward now! Join us for a snail-themed storytime and play-in at Hochul’s office to tell her to HURRY UP and protect NY’s kids, not polluters! We’ll also be delivering some snail mail to Hochul’s office staff. Kids and grown-ups of all ages needed to make this as powerful as possible– bring your friends, kids, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles! We know it’s a school day, but for maximum impact, it’s important to show up on a weekday when the office is open and well before the April 1st state budget deadline.
