Right now, National Grid, a UK-based monopoly corporation doing business as our local gas utility in New York, is laying out its plan for the next 20 years. They claim fracked gas growth is our future. We demand National Grid comply with our climate law, retire its toxic fossil fuel systems, and replace the gas network with thermal energy networks, community solar, and energy efficiency.”
