A Vigil of Remembrance: Memorial for Sam Nordquist

“PFLAG NYC and The NEW Pride Agenda, in partnership with several other organizations, will be hosting A Vigil of Remembrance this Friday evening for our trans brother, Sam Nordquist. We were absolutely devastated to learn about Sam’s murder, and we feel it’s important to create a community-organized space for reflection, support, and remembrance of Sam and the other TGNC lives that have been lost this year. We are seeing and feeling in real time the painful effects of the attempts by those in power to delegitimize and erase trans people. It is excruciating, and we must do everything we can to stop it. Please join us to mourn together and celebrate the lives of our trans siblings who should still be alive.
